I have lived and worked in the NT since 1987 and lived in all of the Northern Territory’s regional centres as well as remote Aboriginal Communities in Central Australia and the Top End. This has given me first hand experience of the Northern Territory’s fascinating and complex history and how it can be seen from multiple perspectives.
It has also taught me that it is only by meticulous research in archives and libraries as well as hearing the voices of those who were there that the Territory’s rich history can be better understood.
